Back to School Letter 2026

Dear ROLCS Families,

It’s almost time to come back to school! We are thrilled to welcome returning and new families to another wonderful year at our school. I pray that you have been enjoying your break and enjoying many fun family adventures this summer! There are lots of fun and exciting changes on the horizon, and we can’t wait to partner with each of you to make this River of Life’s best year yet!

One of the biggest changes for the upcoming school year is the introduction of school uniforms. We believe uniforms will promote unity, foster school pride, and set a standard of excellence that will serve our students for years to come. To make the transition easy, the school will provide one uniform top per student free of charge; these tops will be available for pickup at our Back-to-School Open House.

Uniform guidelines at a glance:

  • Tops: One school-provided uniform top will be available for pickup at the Open
    House. Additional tops may be purchased through our uniform shop (see link/QR
    below). Please order shirts by August 20 to ensure delivery before the first day of
    school.
  • Bottoms: Versatile options are acceptable—black, navy, or khaki pants, shorts,
    skirts, or jumpers are all permitted.
  • Shoes: Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required. No open-toed shoes, slides, or
    Crocs.

Mark your calendars and save the date:

  • Ninth Grade Orientation: September 3, 5:00 p.m.
  • (Mandatory for all parents) ROLCS Parent Meeting and Open House: September 3, 6:00 p.m. (uniform tops available for pickup)
  • Cover the School in Prayer: September 7, 9:00–9:30 a.m.
  • First Day of School (1⁄2 day): September 8
