Student Life
Spiritual Life
Faith is the heartbeat of our community.
- We lift our hearts together in school-wide prayer as a student body.
- We gather in joyful worship every Monday and Friday morning.
- Tuesday through Thursday, and every student grows in faith through weekly Bible class. Together we celebrate God’s love, practice compassion, and encourage students to live out their faith with confidence and joy.

Guidance & Student Support
Someone who knows every student, on site every day.
A school guidance counselor is on-site daily to offer both academic and emotional support. The academic support includes assisting high school students in future academic and technical career planning. Emotional support involves prayerful encouragement for students in times of personal, academic, and spiritual difficulties.
In addition, all students are tested three times per school year with the NWEA Test, a standardized, norm-referenced test. The results of these tests assist the ROLCS administration and faculty in designing Individualized Learning Plans that meet the academic needs of each student.

Technology
River of Life is a 1:1 school.
All students are provided with technology devices (ipads, Chromebooks, etc.) that aid in their academic pursuits across the curriculum. The use of these devices is carefully monitored in order to help prevent inappropriate use by students, as well as to ensure that they are a supplement to, and not the primary means of, student instruction.
Before such devices are issued, every student and parent must sign a “Technology Agreement”, which outlines the proper use and care of all such devices.
