Why This Matters

At River of Life, students in one of Michigan’s most underserved communities are proving what’s possible when every child is known, loved, and challenged.
100%
of students achieved high achievement or high growth in reading and math*
16:1
student-to-teacher ratio
90%
of our students are from Benton Harbor
85
students in kindergarten through 9th grade, supported by 50 volunteers

Results like these don’t happen by accident. They happen because of dedicated teachers, committed families, and a community that believes in these kids. Now we’d like you to see it up close.
